Ti Pure Path TAS5558 +TAS5624 "Power_DAC"+ especially designed for audio purpose LLC SMPS PCBA 139x100x29mm
2x125W@1kHz@THD+N=1%, 2x115W@20Hz@THD+N=1%, 1/2 max Power THD+N = .04%, S/N <-105db, SMPS regulated LLC with frequency shuffling 230VAC/110VAC. USB high resolution audio input CM6631A, BT stream I2S input(not ready yet), System control and BLE smartphone control(IOS/Android apps are not ready yet but I hope about 30 parametric EQ + LPF/HPF 2-4order, and frequency response calibration for particular speaker) Ti CC2540.

I've noticed a tiny class D amps on taobao and ebay is getting popular, however, all of them had external SMPS and usually awful industrial/LED or power brick for a laptop. I like a challenge, so I decided to design the same size amp but with a good quality audio grade SMPS onboard. What do you think, how high current should provide audio-amp SMPS to get 2x115W@20Hz@4ohm? Let's calculate a little. 4ohm/2ch =2ohm load equivalent, 20Hz means 25mS peaks of current, so for 30.5V rails, we need >15A (or a lot of uF capacitors but we have no room for that), or about 500W SMPS output power for short terms. I want to show you typical external SMPS box what I saw on taobao together with the second box as class D amp "2x300W", 423RMB for both. The SMPS is probably LED or telecom type for 48VDC and 7.5A max current. Now you can calculate without my help the real power of such amp+SMPS, and it is far-far from 2x300W ;) Yes, it is funny but 20Hz power expected only 28W, 11x times less than promised + safety problems and for sure EMC too.. Variant with power-brick for 55RMB will be even worse. So, the power supply of the audio amp is same important as the amp itself.

aha, however, they mixed up last time 2oz vs 1oz, so I threw out the PCB and few parts(TAS5558 as well) of this amp, after I noticed it is 1oz..

嘉立创10*10cm¥50/10pcs,或者¥45/5pcs,你应该知道吧?我如果不赶时间,一般都是拼板回来自己割开,就象下面其中就有你提供的iWoofer板子

samjazz, don't forget, my cc2540 PCB layout and especially antenna requires 1mm FR4 and 1oz copper. For the power/class D PCB 2oz is better. Actually if you'll use 1mm FR4 and 2oz copper would be ok.
PS: as I see your big one PCB is irs2093 with 4xTO220 mosfets? Oh man, that layout so awful, I don't believe if it may work right ever.. You need big solid GND polygon on top, without it you'll just spend time and money. Trust me.

关于天线,谢谢你的提醒。
PS:关于那个大板,是1月时赶拼板(为了免费)打样,赶时间画的,这只是一个实验板,目的是验证一下这个IC及几种驱动电路的不同。你说的地平面在底层。这板其实已经做好很久了,这个图片只是临时拼板给你看的,实际上今天画好的一个板会与图中另外的两个小板一起拼板打样。无论如何,谢谢你的指教。

And finally the new version of H-Fi TOY! Now even smaller 127x100mm but more expensive 4 layers PCB. What's new: TAS5624(closed loop power stage i.e. with noise-shaper inside) replaced by TAS5342(open loop power stage with custom noise shaper as additional small PCB). The goal is two modes digital amplifier with the switch Open/Closed. The open loop mode stands zero feedback and quite high THD+N(.1% at 50W) but some audiophiles would prefer it doe to pleasant sound. Closed loop mode uses additional small PCB 45x25mm with noise-shaper (loop filter with very fast Opamp) THD+N .005% @ 50W. Both modes could be switched online by iPhone/Android app.

最后是新版H-Fi TOY! 现在更小的127x100mm但更贵的4层PCB。 新增功能:TAS5624(内置噪声整形器的闭环功率级)由TAS5342(带定制噪声整形器作为附加小型PCB的开环功率级)取代。 目标是开关打开/关闭的两种模式数字放大器。 开环模式代表零反馈,THD + N相当高(50W时为0.1%),但一些发烧友会喜欢它的悦耳声音。 闭环模式使用额外的小型PCB 45x25mm与噪声整形器(环路滤波器,运算速度非常快),THD + N .005%@ 50W。 这两种模式都可以通过iPhone / Android应用程序在线切换。
