CD开始进入奢侈品时代，CD的工业时代宣告结束了

Philips has just informed us they will stop production of the CD.PRO module, due to shortage of some key components.
So we are closed to the end of a story started 19 years ago.

In addition Philips investigates possibility to deliver a few hundreds extra. They roughly mentioned a dozen hundreds.
Those extra modules have to be allocated in priority for maintenance, as they will be the last ones available.

We have already informed Philips that we are interested in the supply of any available spare components for this module.
These spare parts (if any) will be available when the production line will be disassemble, not sooner.

Now you will probably focus on your migration to a new application.
Our GF8 & GF6 applications are available, in various loading system configuration.
They use the same DSA protocol as the CD.PRO. As a result, you can easily adapt your current display/user interface to suit these modules.

时代在进步，纯CD机在日本很少有新产品。九十年代末索尼已经停产CD光头。好像国外的索尼唱片公司已经停产CD唱片。飞利浦CDpro机芯是市场需求少成本高才停产。不是没配件。

时代在进步，在发展。没有最好，只有更好。CD的过气，和以前的磁带机录音机、录像机、VCD机一样都属正常的必然现象。
